Leigh Royal British Legion Club and Branch can be found behind the Large Village Hall in the High Street. The premises includes a club room with licenced bar and a snooker room. Membership is priced at £16 per year for existing members and £17 for new membership. Subscriptions are paid on or before the 1st of October.The club steward prides himself with serving real ale which includes Harveys Best Bitter, Larkins and Harveys Mild. We also offer draught Guinness, Stella Artois, Fosters and Cider. We also have a range of bottled beers, wines and spirits. The club holds a weekly meat raffle and bonus ball lottery. We have fortnightly bingo, ladies and mens darts teams, 2 snooker teams and a team in the local crib and darts league. Events held include the annual trip to the Epsom Derby, Seafood Sunday, Quiz nights, live music, annual competitions and a Golf Society plus anything else we can think of as we go !! The club is managed by a committee who meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month. |
